Findings
Sixty-seven percent of the city's parks are small (less than one acre), but small parks account for less than two percent of the city's total parkland. In some neighborhoods, these small parks are the only open spaces that are closely accessible.
Issue
These small parks are managed by different agencies and are used differently by various groups. Some of the small parks are community assets while others have seen few, if any, improvements
